Firm Secures Courtroom Victory in Baylor Assault Case

A Harris County jury has found that Baylor University and two former student-athletes were not liable in the alleged sexual assault of a student in 2017. Julie Springer was co-lead counsel for Baylor and the firm’s Sara Janes and Colleen Murphey were key members of the defense team in the trial, which began on May 20 and ended with a unanimous defense verdict on June 9.
