Four Firm Attorneys Honored on List of Texas Super Lawyers for 2020

Four partners of Weisbart Springer Hayes LLP have been named among the state’s top attorneys in the recently published 2020 Texas Super Lawyers list.
Geoffrey D. Weisbart, Julie Springer, Sherrard “Butch” Hayes and Sara Janes have each earned multiple, consecutive selections to the list. In addition, Mr. Weisbart is ranked among the Top 50 attorneys in the Central/West Texas region for the third consecutive year.
Thomson Reuters researchers compile the list based on nominations solicited from more than 70,000 practicing lawyers in Texas. A blue-ribbon panel of attorneys assists with final selections, and less than 5 percent of all Texas lawyers earn the honor each year.
Mr. Weisbart has been named to the list annually since its launch in 2003. He is one of the state’s most respected courtroom advocates and has successfully represented an impressive roster of clients in matters involving substantial financial and business risks. He is honored this year in the area of Business Litigation.
Mr. Hayes is recognized for his Employment and Labor Law expertise, and this represents his 14th consecutive year on the Texas Super Lawyers list. He has successfully tried employment disputes and other litigation matters in state and federal courts across the nation.
Ms. Springer is honored in the area of Labor & Employment Litigation and Commercial Litigation. She has represented clients and tried cases in federal and state courts and regulatory agencies throughout Texas and the United States. She is named to the list for the ninth consecutive year and is one of the few attorneys in the state who is Board Certified in both Labor & Employment Law and Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Ms. Janes has successfully handled appeals in both state and federal courts, and offers trial, arbitration and appellate experience in a variety of substantive and procedural subject areas, including labor and employment, complex contract disputes and trade secrets litigation. This marks her fourth year on the list of Texas Super Lawyers.
