AUSTIN, Texas – Two Austin attorneys have joined Weisbart Springer Hayes LLP, a new boutique law firm focusing on high-stakes business, technology, employment, and aviation litigation. The two associates each join Weisbart Springer Hayes with previous litigation experience at other Austin-based practices.

“We’re very pleased that these talented attorneys chose to join us and form the foundation of our new firm,” says name partner Geoff Weisbart. “They bring a strong work ethic and a commitment to client service that is essential to our ongoing success.”

Sara Janes provides trial, arbitration and appellate experience in a variety of complex commercial disputes in both state and federal courts. These matters have included the successful defense of corporations in class actions, labor and employment disputes, trademark claims and insurance matters. Named to the Texas Rising Stars list for the past two years, Ms. Janes earned her law degree from the University of Texas School of Law in 2006, and her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas in 1999. She previously worked in the Austin office of Fulbright & Jaworski.

Mia A. Storm advises clients in business-related claims and has participated in significant jury trials and major class actions, including a legal malpractice settlement involving more than 950 individuals. Previously associated with the Austin firm of Hance Scarborough, she earned her law degree from the University of Texas School of Law in 2011, and her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas in 2008.

Weisbart Springer Hayes LLP was formed earlier this year to focus on commercial litigation matters in Texas and across the nation. Based on a philosophy of personal service and a practice of efficient management, the firm represents both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of complex legal disputes.

The firm has leased office space in Austin’s new Block 21 project, a mixed-use development that includes The W Hotel and Condominiums as well as the KLRU Austin City Limits Theater. Currently in temporary offices, Weisbart Springer Hayes plans to move into its new space later this summer. Visit the firm’s website at https://www.wshllp.com.
